Hello, I am Gustavo Prada, I was born in Bogota Colombia, and completed high school in Colombia. I learned English in an exchange program in Poughkeepsie NY, I then returned, and started medical school at Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia. I practiced in Bogota for about 5 years practicing primary care/ urgent care. I then started the process of transferring my Medical career to the US.
I Moved to Indianapolis IN in 2008, did my internship at IU Methodist hospital and continued my residency at the Riggs/Methodist program. I have had roots in Florida for about 40 years so when the time came, moving from IN to FL was the right choice.
I have always been interested in helping my community since high school, I started doing missionary work which later turned into medical mission trips. I have done missions mostly in Colombia and recently in Jamaica. I am very family-oriented, enjoy spending time outside, my interests include chocolate, coffee, traveling and soccer.
